If you are a writer and have a tumblr, then you might like a new blog I have just set up. The blog is called "the Pen's Point of View", and it was designed to help writers of all kinds get inspiration, tips and some questions answered. If you are lucky, you might also get a feature on the blog as well.

The blog was just officially set up today, so its brand new and I'm excited to help anyone who asks.
If you want to check it out, click on the [link] .

I would love it if you were to check it out!

Also, as for the requests:

~Ruminzal's request will go first.
~ACPaws's request will be second.
~mim4uuu's request will be third.

I haven't forgotten about them, I just have school soon and I needed to prepare. I will try to get them all finished by the end of the week.

I've been busy with summer work and a lot of events this summer...and I feel bad for not updating a good piece of literature (or anything for the matter) in a while. So I have decided to let you guys have an input in what I write (or draw) next.

what would you like to see more of by me? Literature, drawings, I would love your input.

As far as actual requests go, I won't write or draw "mature content" or ships I don't like, but things like your OC might be up for debate.  Also, if you want me to draw something, I'm not as good in that field, and I might turn it down if it is too difficult for me. This isn't because I'm not up for a challenge, it's because I don't want to work hard on something and still disappoint someone. If you want me to write something, I will be most open to theme requests, simply because it's weird for me to write about others OCs.

tldr; To my watchers who watch me here, thank you so much. Have a request to show my appreciation.

Entering some deviantart contests...

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 7, 2012, 9:02 AM
It amazes me how much deviantart has changed from a year ago. Before hand, it rarely ever offered many contests for writing, or at least, not any that stood a chance. Now the contests seem to at least be willing to accept writers' work as well. Love the change, deviantart. Keep it up.

Not to fond of the weird preview image for my "Playing Bomber" poem though :/

Here it is: Playing Bomber (poem)
Pitter patter of tiny feet
Wake up the sleeping silence
Shadows secretly search the street
Catching objects with cadence

Like ants they follow each other
Down able alleyways
Planning to make the set suffer
Keeping its hunger at bay

Filling fools' eyes with dishonor
As it plays the sour system
In this game to "be the bomber"
Taking what was once victims'

SO... just in case you guys weren't sure what was in your inbox, that weird screenshot thing is INDEED poetry. Sorry about that.

In other news...

Have fun on deviantart's 12th birthday with your free one day premium memberships! If you want anything officially critiqued by me, just note me or comment below. I would be happy to help.

Hope you guys have an awesome day~

...with a peeling sunburn, dirty clothes, and a tired body.

The good news is that I finally finished reading a book called "Cat's Cradle" and finished about a quarter of my history work (I think the book is called "The Story of American Freedom" by Eric Foner. I have some questions regarding it to make sure I read it.) Then I have some Biology, but at least overall, a chunk is finished.

ANYWAYS.

What has been going on with all you guys lately?

Oh I made a Homestuck group...

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 9, 2012, 7:18 PM
Hi, I have made a new Homestuck group called #2xPistolsAndWonk. It's a JakexRoxy group, and I know the ship isn't very popular, but I was hoping a few of you would find it cute enough to join. There just wasn't any groups for it yet and I actually think it's kinda cute so...
Anyway...
There's "other characters", "other ships", and "misc." folders if you don't have anything relevant to particularly Jake or Roxy, and there's a lot of folders like cosplays, literature, contest, and monthly theme. Really, the focus is Roxy and Jake in any quadrant (or just them in general), but we accept other characters and ships too!

Check it out if your interested?

Remember HAL 9000 in 2001: A Space Odyssey?

You don't? Here, let Wikipedia and I make you remember…

"In the film, astronauts David Bowman and Frank Poole consider disconnecting HAL's cognitive circuits when he appears to be mistaken in reporting the presence of a fault in the spacecraft's communications antenna. They attempt to conceal what they are saying, but are unaware that HAL is capable of lip reading. Faced with the prospect of disconnection, HAL decides to kill the astronauts in order to protect and continue its programmed directives. HAL proceeds to kill Poole while he is repairing the ship. When Bowman goes to rescue Poole, he is locked out of the ship, and HAL proceeds to disconnect the life support systems of the other hibernating crew members, killing them in their sleep. Dave manages to force his way back onto the ship by jumping through space and prying open an emergency airlock, outside of HAL's control. ."

Dave…

Lil Hal…didn't he say he was over 9000?

Should we be worried now?

SinShoot that shit,
in my vein.
Cut my wrists,
feel the pain.
Spread my legs for some cash.
In those heels I will dash.
Round the corner,
down the street.
In the dark we will meet.
Held by shackles,
held by chains,
In my life there is no gain.
I feel pleasure,
I feel shame...
Only death will end this game.
Hard as I try I can not win.
My life is a constant sin.

Abducted Part One - A Mother's Worst NightmareAbducted Part One - A Mother's Worst Nightmare

The small girl stirred on the bed, her body felt heavy and her mind, groggy. The girl made herself sit up. Something didn't feel right. This wasn't her bed. This room wasn't hers.

"Mommy?"

She waited for a response. A minute passed.

"Mommy? Where are you? Where am I?"

Tears started to burn her eyes, "Mommy…?!"

Her body shuddered as she started to sob, quietly at first. The louder sobs were muffled when she cried into the pillow. She was too scared to move or even call out again. She cried for a while, until she was too tired to shed another tear. The girl sniffled and wiped away at the

I sat with my fingers curled around the edge of the last wooden plank, utterly still except the steady rise and fall of my chest as my lungs expanded in time to my breathing. The silence that settled around me was as still as the wave-less surface of the water that I had my eyes fixed on.

A pillar of fog was slowly rolling its way toward the shore from across the chilled Pacific. It was approaching almost lazily, inching its way through the motionless air and crawling across the solid grey expanse of ocean until it swirle

SecretsA small boy lay crumpled at the foot of an effigy in an empty cathedral. It was cold and dark. He was alone.

Suddenly, the sound of shushed footsteps, followed by vigorous shaking and whispering greeted him. "Klavier! Klavier! Get up! The bishop! He is coming!" The little boy's eyelids flitted open without hesitation as he got up. "Hurry! Come on now!" A yawn escaped him as he was tugged harshly by the sleeve. Heavy footsteps were soon heard echoing through the back of the cathedral.

Dozens of faded protest tarpaulins covered the abandoned confessionals where he and his brother now stood. "Hey Kristoph, that hurt." His brother continued sta

1000 point feature!

Journal Entry: Thu May 10, 2012, 6:01 PM
Oh my gosh, I never thought I would break 1000 points! I use the points for my groups and people who deserve it, so this is really really cool.

The people who donated were:

:iconjarrad113: [link] - Jarrad113 donated 15 points to me, and was the first donor I had. Jarrad113's favorite media is with markers, and does AMAZING things with them.

Someone donated 30 points anonymously, and since it has been a long time since he/she donated, the record of who it was has been deleted. I still am really grateful for the points though :D

:iconruminzal: [link] Ruminzal donated a whopping 800 points, which is truly incredible. He has a very interesting gallery full of concepts, literature, and photos. I highly recommend you at least see what he's all about, comment on some of his stuff, etc. He's also a friend of mine in school. :P

:iconrpakita: [link] RPAkita donated 20 points. This artist is really amazing at drawing dogs, ducks and creatures, and often paints them, or at least draws them traditionally. Very awesome stuff.

:iconwolfdreams: [link] WolfDreams donated 100 points. She is a photographer and writer. You should really look at her wide range of topics and ideas.

:iconmetarex12: [link] Metarex12 donated 20 points. This artist is mainly a writer, but is known to draw some on the side. A literature collaboration of his looks promising.

And the last one is:

:iconnicswaner: [link] Let the Sparrows InI.

Blackbirds are resting on the power lines,
Their silhouettes form the notation to
A dawn song set on the sheet music of
Telephone poles contrasted by the sun.

Curled leaves are land mines littered
On the lawn where imprints of twigs
And a nurturing robin's tracks collect.

Branchlets and leaflets stem from
Porch step railings and mailboxes;
The numbers read even on the
East side of the asphalt:

Seven-seven-thirty-six.
The engraved letters on
The siding reads, "Davis."
This house is home to family

So let the sparrows in.

The house,
With its branching hallways
And
Overhanging décor
And
Furniture rooted to the floor

Packeranatic donated 20 points. He is so so cool. I can't even begin. He's an amazing artist and he's always looking out for others. Please go comment on his work, favorite his gallery, watch him on all your accounts. You won't regret it.

Thank you so much for the points you guys!

Really cool things that waste time **Feature**

Journal Entry: Wed May 2, 2012, 12:33 PM

This game is so fun, and it gives llamas to random people who might otherwise not get any. Its strangely addicting, and I still think it's one of the neatest things that's llama-related.

Very cute, but very very addicting. Even the music has cute annoying cat game written all over it. I used to play this all the time, whenever I was bored.

Simple, but really fun anyways~ Try to beat the high score, I dare you.

The art is almost as cute and amazing as this game is.

Oh my gosh you guys, I'm so honored...I've only been here a bit more than a year now, and it was animefanime426 that encouraged me to join deviantart at first. Thank you :iconofonesoul: for suggesting it as a DD, and thank you to all my followers that believed in me.

Here the Daily Deviation is: Sad Blue EyesWhen I was little, my mom used to carry me everywhere. She would cradle my pudgy pale body and rock me back and forth, watching me as I cuddled close to her warm body. My mom's eyes were big and blue, but were always terribly sad when they saw me. On the days when her eyes would become so glossy raindrops fell off her face, my mom would roll up my dress sleeve to reveal a delicate bangle resting around my wrist. "Your number suits you…sweet like berries…" she would coo in my ear, "Palmer and Rodney don't have numbers as sweet as yours." Her voice would weaken and shake whenever I asked what my number was.

The "Trenchcoat and Smokestacks" related literature will be put in storage until further notice. Sorry if you guys wanted to read it or if it was your favorite, but it's going through the works right now and I want to keep the story aspect quiet from this point on.

ALTHOUGH,

I might draw some stuff, and I collabed on a comic with :iconvicariouscollector: featuring Gregory, that will hopefully be put up soon. I also requested a portrait of Gregory (realistic portrait) that she did an AMAZING job drawing. If I can convince her to post it, I would probably favorite it a hundred times over.
